Billy Joe Norris' Obituary
Billy Joe Norris, 93 of Garland, Texas was born July 26th, 1928 in Madill, Oklahoma to Jessie Hampton Norris and Hazel Williams, passed away on May 6th, 2022. He married Elsie Jean Hilliard on October 29, 1948 in Texas. Billy is remembered for his passion for family and traveling, his attendance at First Baptist Church of Garland, and volunteering at the church's Friendship House. He was preceded in death by his precious wife, Jean of 63 years, granddaughter Chandler Lobb, grandson David James Norris and son-in-law Hayden Smith. Billy is survived by his 3 children Billie Smith of Grapevine, David Norris of Garland, and Tamra Lobb of Garland, his 4 grandchildren Sara Norris of Fort Worth, Kelly Langston of Houston, Chelsea Lobb of Rowlett, and Harrison Lobb of Twin Falls, and 3 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 12:00pm in the Garden of the Gospels of Restland Memorial Park on Greenville Avenue.
