Billy Phiffer's Obituary
Billy Ray Phiffer went home to be with his wife, Sandra, son Ric and his Lord Jesus on June 1 after a long illness. He was born on October 11, 1930 to Sam and Ella Dee Phiffer, the next to youngest of 8 children, in Arden, Arkansas. He entered the Navy in 1948. During his service, he met Sandra Jean Elizabeth Cooper. They married on June 21, 1953 and had 3 children, Richard Mark (Ric), Judith Diane and Sharon Kay. During his careers, he was a professional musician, he sold insurance and plastics, repaired airplane fuel cells and mined for gold. He was even an actor in a movie.
He is preceded in death by his wife Sandra, son Ric, his mother and father and 6 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughters Diane Lundy, Sharon Duncan and her husband Drue, daughter-in-law Leslie Keyser, brother Walter (Buddy) Phiffer and wife Shirley, 6 grandchildren and spouses, 14 great grandchildren, 4 sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
