Billy David Schaerdel's Obituary
was born in Dallas on March 13, 1931. On May 16,2011, his Savior called him home, where his beloved wife, Joyce, was waiting. The love and presence of Jesus filled him so completely that it overflowed and was evident in joyful living, generous giving, singing spiritual songs, memorizing scripture and sharing the Gospel. He was survived by a multitude of family and friends who will miss him dearly, but who rejoice in his arrival at his eternal home. Visitation is 6-8pm on Thursday, May 19, 2011. Service at 12:30pm, Friday, May 20, 2011 at Restand Memorial Chapel, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX. Bill is already surrounded by the unimaginable beauty and glory of God, but on this earth, his heart was centered on sharing the love of Jesus with widows, orphans, the homeless and the hungry. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to The Salvation Army, Dallas Corps; PO Box 970219, Dallas, TX 75397-0219.
