Billy Wallace Tinker's Obituary
Billy Wallace Tinker went home to be with his Lord on February 1, 2018 with his wife, son, and daughter-in-law by his side. He was born in Trumann, Arkansas on September 20, 1933. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends who would often comment on his unique personality. He enjoyed a 40-year career as a switchman on the railroad and was a member of First Baptist Church, Richardson, Texas for 54 years.He is survived by the love of his life for 64 years, Doris Rees Tinker; son Greg and daughter-in-law Jennifer; granddaughter Stephanie and husband Aaron Beazley; grandson Skyler and wife Brittany and great-grandson, Jude Beazley; nieces Patricia Clark of California and Linda Knupp of Illinois; and sister-in-law, Faye Rees, and children Kim LeMay, Doug Rees, Ricky Rees all of Dallas.He was preceded in death by his parents John Sydney and Oma Ruth Tinker; sisters Ann Ward and Betty Clark; brother John Sydney Tinker, Jr.; brother-in-law Raymond (Buddy) Rees.Visitation will be Thursday, February 8, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, at 12:30 PM in Restland’s Wildwood Chapel.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243
