Billy Eugene Walker was born on March 6, 1929 in Gilmer, Texas and passed away March 5, 2015 in Garland, Texas. He was predeceased in death by his parents, 7 brothers and 3 sisters and his son-in-law, George Farmer. Married for over 66 years to the one and only love of his life, Pearlie. Separated in death by only 7 days; they lived as they died: two hearts, one life; forever together. Survived by their four children: Vickie, Donna, Rick and his wife Yvonne, and Linda and her husband Dale; six grandchildren: Kristy, Jason, Clayton and his wife Rebeka, Jennifer, Bonnie, Phillip; and 6 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers, Guy and Albert and Albert’s wife, Mary Kay. He was an avid sports fan his entire life. He played minor league baseball in his youth, was on a bowling league and enjoyed hunting trips with his son Rick. After he retired, he enjoyed gardening, dining out on Friday nights and spending time with his wife, their children, and grandchildren. The visitation for Billy E. Walker along with his wife, Pearlie Mae Walker will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Inurnment is scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
