Billy B. Wells' Obituary
Billy was born on March 18, 1931 in Telephone, TX. He met the love of his life on a blind date and married her four months later and was able to celebrate 64 years together before her passing earlier this year. He joined the Navy in 1952 and when he completed his tour, he worked for General Motors Corporation throughout his career. Billy had a great love of the Bible and taught classes through his church throughout the years. He was a member of Edwin J. Kiest Lodge for over 60 years earning the Golden Trowel Award for his many years of service. He loved his family more than words can express. His grandchildren made him so proud! He was the best role model for their young, impressionable lives! He loved to tell stories!! And through us that loved him so dearly, his stories will live on forever. The family would like to thank Vitas for the compassion and care they provided for us during this difficult time. Survived by daughters, Elaine Borchardt and husband Karl; Donna Seitz and husband Glenn; grandchildren, Matt Kennedy, Jennifer Carr, David, Daniel and Paul Seitz; great grandchildren, Kaelee Carr along with numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 6:00-8:00PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 10:00 AM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
