Blair Ovelia Lee's Obituary
Blair O. Lee, born June 25, 1941 in Houston, Texas; died March 21, 2009. Preceded in death by daughter, Jenny and father, Ovelia. Survived by wife of 42 years, Dolores; son, Andrew and wife Naomi; granddaughter, Astoria; mother, Selma; and brother, Jim. A graduate of Richardson High 1959 and UTD, Blair also served in the U.S. Navy, retired from the postal service, and was a member of First Baptist Church, Forney, Texas. A man of passion and conviction, he thrived on the serenity of gardening, the adventure of travel, the challenge of golf and the stimulation of political debate. In life he was a tower of strength, a lighthouse for justice, an adoring father, and a devoted husband and life-long friend. Visitation will open 1:00pm, Monday, March 23, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. A service will be held at 12:30pm , Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the old First Baptist Church, downtown Forney; 309 South Bois D’Arc; Forney, TX 75126.
