I have only recently gotten to know Blanche, but over the last several months I have enjoyed her lively spirit and gracious hospitality. She has been a loving and devoted friend, mentor, and mom to many and she always found room to welcomed one more. Her memory lives on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her.

How different my life will be without Mom… She was my friend, my "adopted" Mom, my advisor, and such the jokester! When I broke my wrist last year stepping off the end of the pool, she asked, "Katie, How long have you been coming down here?" She was so giving, and so generous, sometimes we just had to say "No, but thank you!" But we didn't always say no! She lovingly welcomed Kelly into her life. It was understood that whoever came into my life would have to know that she was part of the package! There will be a noticeable hole in our lives. We will miss hearing "I'm fat and sassy!". We will miss so very much, but will hold on to many cherished and wonderful memories. She's home now, she's free of pain and worry, she lives on in our hearts. Our love to her family and friends.
