Bob Henry Firth's Obituary
FIRTH, BOB HENRY passed away peacefully at his home in Rockwall, Texas with his family by his side. He grew up in Dallas and was the oldest of 5 children. He graduated from Crozier Tech in 1950 where he played football & ran track. After graduation Bob served in the Army and then returned to Dallas to start his automotive business, Top Value Motors, which was eventually moved to Garland. He has been married to Linda, the love of his life, for 47 years and has raised 3 daughters. Bob was a devoted husband and father and loved his grandchildren dearly. He also loved the Lord and was a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church. Bob will be greatly missed by his family & loved ones who rejoice in knowing that he is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Survived by his wife, Linda Firth; daughters Sherry Massey & husband A.W.; Deborah Williams & husband David; Susan Lucido & husband Brandt. Grandchildren, Justin Williams & wife Stephanie; Jonathan Williams; Lauren Williams; Ryan Williams; Brandon Lucido; Nicholas Lucido; Preston Lucido and wife Danielle. Great grandchild, Elijah Lucido. Brother, Jim Firth & wife Carol; Sister, Norma Hickman. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home on Greenville Ave. in Dallas. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Restland Memorial Park followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 AM in the Chapel at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano.
