Bobbie Lee Burns' Obituary
Bobbie Lee Burns, son of Oral O. and Irene Burns was born on September 20, 1927 in North Little Rock, Arkansas and passed away on December 17, 2017, in Bedford, Texas. He was employed at Western Electric Company for over 35 years until he retired. Bobbie served in the US Marine Corps from October 1945 to October 1948, and was a 32nd degree Mason. He married Betty Sue Welch on August 10, 1957 in McGehee, Arkansas, and she preceded him in death. Bobbie will be missed by all who knew him, including his daughters: Terri Henson, Hurst, Texas, Susan Lopez, Dallas, Texas, son Robert Burns, Dallas, Texas; eleven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, 2222 Welborn, Dallas, Texas 75219.The family will receive guests on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
