Bobbie Lavern Collins' Obituary
Born on August 14, 1925 in Carrollton, TX and passed away on November 16, 2008 in Plano, TX. She was President of Allendale Garden Club and Violet Crown Garden Club, a member of the Austin Area Garden Center, and a National Flower Show Judge. She also loved dancing, gardening, listening to music, reading, and traveling. Bobbie is a graduate of North Texas State University and a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church of Austin. She is survived by her husband, Charles Earl Collins; 3 daughters, Charlene Collins Browning and husband Bovie, Mindy Beaty and husband Doug, and Amy Collins Rush and husband Kevin; and grandchildren, Bovie Chance Browning, Cody Browning, Collin Browning, Sarah Watson Barnard and husband Bryan, and Jason Watson. Visitation will be from 6 to 8PM Thursday November 20, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 12:30PM Friday November 21, 2008 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at Forrest Lawn Cemetery.
