Mrs Bobbie Irene Lovell's Obituary
LOVELL, BOBBIE IRENE Bobbie Irene Lovell died on Sunday, May 27, 2007, at age 86. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on January 23, 1921, the third of seven children to Robert and Katie Allen. She grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Birdville High School in 1938. Bobbie met her future husband, Warner Earl LoveIl, Sr., while they worked at Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company. They married on March 15, 1940 and had three children. Bobbie was a devoted mother and homemaker. Their family lived in Fort Worth until moving to Long Beach, California in 1951. In 1962, they moved to Weatherford, Texas, where they owned and ran a peach and blackberry farm. In 1973 they moved to North Dallas, and Bobbie enjoyed her retirement. She spent her time gardening, reading, sewing, playing the organ, and visiting with loved ones. In 2002, Bobbie and her husband moved to Norman, OK, to be closer to family. Bobbie was an excellent hostess and superb cook. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends and was always ready to join in a card or domino game. She had an eye for interior design, and took pride in designing and decorating her homes. Bobbie loved to dress fashionably and had a large collection of jewelry and shoes. Bobbie is survived by daughter Franca Jones and son-in-law David Jones of Auburn, California; son Warner Lovell, Jr., and daughter-in-law Gwyn Lovell of Norman, Oklahoma; son-in law, Jan Chalupsky of Woodland Park, Colorado; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her sisters Pat Isenberg, Taloma Camp, and Awilda Anderson; brother-in law Bob Anderson; and sister-in-law Lorene Allen, all of Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warner Earl Lovell, Sr., daughter, Cheryl Chalupsky, and brother, Delbert Allen. Family will receive friends from 2:00’3:30 pm, on Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas. Funeral services are planned for 4:00 pm, Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at Restland Memorial Chapel. Rev. Michael Spradlin will preside. Services director is Jeniffer M. Collins, 972/238-7111. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Covenant Church, 1424 E. Grauwyler Road, Irving, TX, 75061-5124.
