Mrs. Bobbie Jean McDaniel's Obituary
Bobbie Jean Sharp McDaniel went home to the Lord on July 4, 2023 at the age of 85. Daughter of Bilton Burl & Ada Mae Sharp, Bobbie was born on September 8, 1937 and lived in El Paso and Shelbyville, Texas. Bobbie was greeted in heaven by her husband of 65 years, Felix McDaniel, whose death preceded her in 2016. Bobbie & Felix McDaniel owned and operated Huxley Bay Marina on Toledo Bend Lake from 1972 to 1993.
Mrs. Bobbie was a devoted member of the Lydia Missionary Baptist Church in Shelbyville for decades and served as a tireless volunteer for multiple organizations.
Bobbie will be lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law Charles (Chuck) Osborne, nephew Marvin Roycroft and wife Cindy, niece Kitty Osteen, niece Dianna Westbrook and husband Henry, nephew Michael Walker, nephew Danny Osteen, nephew Tommy Osteen, niece Kristina (Kristy) Knowles and husband Bryan, niece Staci Heath and husband Kevin, nephew Aaron Ducharme and wife Elaina, nephew Charles (Chaz) Osborne, and several great nieces and nephews she adored. Mrs. Bobbie will also be missed by countless friends and community members.
A funeral service in memory of Mrs. Bobbie McDaniel will be held at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas on Monday July 10, 2023, at 2:00 PM with a public visitation at 1:00 PM.
