Bobbie Ray Parks' Obituary
Bobbie Ray Parks, 91, passed away January 21, 2021 in McKinney, Texas. He was born November 24, 1929 to Robert Parks and Bethel Parks in Richland Springs, Texas. He married Margaret Rogers on August 14, 1955 in Paris, Texas.
Survived by loving wife of 65 years, Margaret Park; daughter, Laurie Sigman; son-in-law, Scott Sigman; grandchildren, Michael Sigman, Kathryn Sigman, Samuel Edmundson, Meri-Kate Edmundson, and Cash Sigman; sister, Jeanine Willis; and many nieces and nephews.
Bobbie was an Elementary Principal in Pampa ISD and Richardson ISD for 35 years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1952 as a Storekeeper 2nd Class. Bob was adored by all and was a master storyteller. He loved to make people laugh. He always had a story at the ready for his grandchildren about his days in the Navy or his time as a principal. He cherished his time spent with family and friends. The loves of his life included his wife Margaret, his daughter Laurie, his grandchildren and BlueBell Ice Cream.
