Bob Bowers was my employer, my mentor, and my friend. I am fairly certain that as a loud-mouthed rookie and even louder tenured teacher I was responsible for some of his Gray hair. We sat on opposite sides of the negotiating table many times, but we remained friends. Nan and Robert, I pray you will be comforted by the love and support of friends and family. Mr. Bowers was my first high school principal. He hired me in Mannford and mentored me as I grew in our profession. I had Robert in class & offer my sympathy to both you & Nan. May he rest in peace in the arms of our Lord. Lisa Thomas
Bob Bowers was the best principle that I had. He was always so very easy to talk to, even when you were in trouble! I'm saddened to hear of his passing . My prayers are with man and Robert , Mary Stutsman
