Bobby Dean Hartsell's Obituary
Hartsell, Bobby Dean passed away after a brief illness on October 21, 2013 at 84 years of age. He was born in Rosenberg, Texas on August 18, 1929. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Preston Hartsell and Mary Holland Hartsell and brother, Jolly Clay Hartsell. He was a Registered Pharmacist and was employed for many years as a representative for Eli Lilly and Company before his retirement. While with Lilly, he worked with numerous physicians and hospitals including Parkland Memorial Hospital and Southwestern Medical School. He loved animals and was passionate about politics and current events, and served in several political campaigns throughout his life. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandra Hartsell; son, Brent Hartsell, MD and wife, Barbara; daughters, Jill Hartsell, Rachel McCasland and husband, Randy; four granddaughters, Elizabeth Hartsell, Emily Hartsell, Megan McCasland and Mary McCasland. He adored his loving wife and his four grandchildren. He was loyal and generous and will be missed. Services will be held Friday October 25, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
