Mr. Bobby Curtis Jones' Obituary
Bobby Curtis Jones, 84, of Mesquite, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. Born February 2, 1934 in Leake County, Mississippi, he was the son of Guy Jones and Myrtle Wolverton Jones. He loved fishing, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. He will be dearly missed.Bobby was a devoted husband to his late wife of 61 years, Jeanette Jones. Before her passing, he spent much of his time caring for her as life’s circumstances demanded. He will forever be loved and remembered by his two daughters, Teresa Jones and Rebecca Tyler; grandson Wesley Talley and his wife, Angie; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Brenna Talley; brothers Johnny Reed Jones and his wife, Gayle, Waymon Jones and his wife, Melba, Larry Jones, and Tommy Jones and his wife, Ruth. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends. Bobby is preceded in death by his oldest brother, Julian Jones.Memorial services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 4, 2018, at Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Mesquite. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 3, 2018, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home Dallas.
