Bobby Lee Lilly, 87, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025, at Medical City Plano. He was born on October 30, 1937, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, to Audrey Lilly and Ida Mae Henry.
Bobby proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, where he demonstrated his dedication to his country. On December 20, 1975, he married the love of his life, Alberta Mixon, in Dallas, Texas. This year would have marked 50 years of their devoted marriage. Over the past few years, as Bobby’s health declined, Alberta was a constant and loving caregiver.
Bobby enjoyed a successful career as a pharmacist and was also the proud owner of A & B Cleaning Services, a janitorial business he operated with great care. In his free time, Bobby had a passion for carpentry and loved watching all types of sports. Known for his vibrant personality, Bobby’s love for his family was unwavering, and he treasured the moments spent with them.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Audrey and Ida Mae Lilly; his sisters, Robbie Lilly and Willie Faye Lilly; his brother, Elmer Carl Lilly; and his son, Lee Vernon Bryant Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife, Alberta Lilly; his daughter, Carolyn Alexander; his son, Keith Bryant; his granddaughters, Shantelle Lilly-Davison (Andre) and Airess Alexander; his grandson, Trey Bryant; his great-granddaughters, Shaniia Davison, Harmoni Davison, Kennedy Bryant, and Jhett Alexander; his great-grandson, Baylor Bryant; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bobby’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who were fortunate to know such a kind, loving, and vibrant man.
