Bobby Dan Simmons' Obituary
SIMMONS, BOBBY DAN passed into eternal life with our Lord and Savior, Tuesday, October 9, 2012 in McKinney, Texas. Bob was born December 12, 1931 in Paris, Texas to Jack and Grace Simmons. He served in the United States Air Force as a Helicopter Pilot from 1952 to 1957. He was a proud graduate in 1963, from the University of Texas at Austin, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He retired from the Southland Corporation / Information Services. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Grace Simmons and brothers, Jack Simmons, Jr. and Billy Simmons. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters, Elizabeth and husband Carey Polk, Rachel and husband Kenny Mills and Krysta and husband Jimmy Averre; son, Brian and wife Shona Simmons; step daughter, Sally Lange; and step sons, Kenneth Lange, John Lange and Mark Lange; seven beloved grandchildren, Christina and Alyssa Polk, Travis Mills, Landon and Andrea Averre and Cody and Hanah Simmons. Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior to the service in the chapel. Graveside service will follow.
