Bobby Gene Underwood Sr.'s Obituary
UNDERWOOD, BOBBY GENE, SR. 79, died on April 29, 2012 in Garland, Texas. He was born in Nocona, Texas on February 16, 1933 to the late Carl and Lucile Underwood. He worked for the US Dept of Labor. He proudly served in the US Air Force and retired from the Air Force Reserve. He was a member of the Wylie Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Amalie Traber Underwood; sister, Donna Cobern; children, Donna Vidacovich and husband Chris, Renee Tolison, Bobby Underwood, Jr. and wife Vanessa and Carl Underwood; 10 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at Restland Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 1st from 6-8pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 2nd at Restland Memorial Chapel at 12:30 pm with burial to follow in Restland Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Mary Crowley Cancer Center or to the Arms of Hope Children’s Home.
