Mrs. Bobbye J Shaw's Obituary
Bobbye Jean Martin Shaw moved to Heaven on Monday, March 13, 2023. She was born October 28, 1934 to Fred and Nola Martin in Leesburg, Texas. Her family moved to Commerce, Texas when she was in elementary school.
After a whirlwind romance, Bobbye married Wendel Shaw on May 15, 1954 and they enjoyed 68 wonderful years together. Bobbye used her skills in the business world in insurance and also assisting her husband in their printing business. But her greatest joy was serving her family. She was the loving mother of two children, JaNae and Robert, grandmother to four and great grandmother to six.
Bobbye was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Mary Kinard. She is survived by her husband Wendel, daughter JaNae Davenport (Bob), son Robert Shaw, grandchildren, Chandra Davenport, Chad Davenport (Amber), Kara Shaw, Lynzi Shaw, six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Services for Bobbye will be Monday, March 27, 2023 at 10:00 am, Christ Chapel Bible Church Burleson, 390 N Burleson Blvd, Burleson, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, Community Healthcare of Texas 501 North Ridgeway Drive, Cleburne, Texas 76033 or Christ Chapel Bible Church Burleson.
