Bonnell J. Crews' Obituary
CREWS, BONNELL J. was born in Martin, Tennessee to Kellie Davis Jinkins and Queenie Virginia Leach Jinkins on August, 22, 1917. Bonnell is survived by her daughter, Nancy Motsinger; son-in-law, H.M. Motsinger; granddaughter, Donna Motsinger Scott; grandson, Charles D. Motsinger and great granddaughter’s, Ailysh, Taylor Faye and Charli Motsinger. Also living are her sisters-in-law, Jeanette Williams and Joyce Pratt both of Ft. Worth, Texas, and their children, Joan Dollar and her husband, Bill, Janet Steen and Dan Pratt and his wife, Beverly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duke B. Crews and sisters, Helen Lowe of Paris, Tennessee, Sara Ruth Hackerd of Garden City, Michigan and brother, Davis Jr. Jinkins of Niagra Falls, New York. She was married to Duke B. Crews on April 17, 1940 and remained married for 46 years until his death in 1986. She loved being a homemaker and taking care of her husband and daughter. She enjoyed working with her flowers and crocheting. She was active in PTA and teaching Bible school to children. For the last 17 years she resided in Dallas, Texas to be near her daughter and attended church at White Rock Church of Christ. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, March 24, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 12:00 PM at Restland Abbey Chapel. Bonnell will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Abbey Mausoleum at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
