Bonnie Jean Black's Obituary
Bonnie J. Black, 92, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on June 20, 2021 in Carrollton, Texas. She was born on February 5, 1929 in Manchester, Oklahoma, to Jonathan Ralph Latta and the former Pearl Dietz. She married S. Ronald Black on July 30, 1948 in Wichita, Kansas. She and her husband were lifelong members and hard workers for the Church of Christ. She was a homemaker most of her life. Also she worked at Sears Roebuck. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sewing and gardening and painting. She played tennis, card games and dominoes. She enjoyed hiking, skiing and going to the beach. She was a member of Prestoncrest Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Ron; her sisters Corrine Afton and Ann Friedel; and her granddaughter Karen Greenway. Bonnie is survived by her daughters: Ronda Greenway of Edmond, OK; Janet Black of Mission, TX; and Kay Torres of Euless, TX; two sons-in-law, four grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.

Interment will take place in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on July 27.
