Bonnie Boyd Chapman, 65, of Dallas, TX passed away in Houston, TX on October 4, 2018.Bonnie was born on September 5, 1953, in Dallas, TX and grew up in Dallas and Mesquite, TX.Bonnie was a devoted and loving mother to her three sons Greg, Geoff, and Garrett. She was a dedicated grandmother and was extremely proud of her family. She was affectionately known as “Grandma” to her grandchildren.Bonnie loved holidays and spending time with her family. She loved cooking and showing her love for family through old-fashioned home cooked meals. Bonnie loved animals, especially her beloved cat “Kee Kee”.She was the embodiment of kindness and compassion, and her good-natured spirit brought happiness to all who spent time with her. She will be missed dearly.She is preceded in death by her father William T. Boyd, her mother Janis S. Boyd, and her brother Jeffry P. Boyd. She is survived by her sister-in-law Martha Boyd, sons Greg, Geoff, and Garrett Chapman, and grandchildren Gabriel, Graham, Sadie, and Emilia.Grateful appreciation is extended to the MD Anderson Cancer Center, CHI St Luke’s Health – The Woodlands Hospital, and Bristol Hospice doctors and nurses for their loving care.At this time, funeral services for Bonnie Boyd Chapman are scheduled for Monday, October 8, 2018, at 10:00 am at Restland Cemetery.Funeral arrangements for Bonnie Boyd Chapman have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
