Bonnie M. Hampton's Obituary
Bonnie M. Hampton September 10, 1931 – January 20, 2010 Bonnie Hampton passed away on January 20, 2010 in Garland, Texas. Bonnie was born, grew up, and graduated from high school in Newport, Arkansas. After graduating, Bonnie moved to Memphis, Tennessee where she met Charles R. Beis. They were married in Dallas, Texas where they raised their two daughters Lisa and Melanie. Bonnie worked for the Wal-Mart Corp. for over 15 years where she touched the lives of many. Bonnie is survived by her first husband and care giver, Charles. Daughters Lisa Macon, Melanie Beis Burdorf and her husband Randy, two grandchildren Dylan and Haylee Macon, sister, Kathryn (Kitty) Corley, of Little Rock, Ar., a host nieces and nephews, and all of her many friends who loved her. Bonnie pursued a lifetime of happiness with an optimism that was easily recognized by all who knew her. Bonnie’s persevering spirit coupled with her unrelenting desire to live life enabled her to bravely battle several chronic illnesses. She always bounced back and never complained through any type of adversity. She was a shining example of how to live life and will be missed by all who knew her. Lisa and Melanie would like to personally thank their father, Charles Beis, for patiently giving his time and energy, selflessly, for the last five years to care their mother, Bonnie.
