Bonnie Laurie Stanford's Obituary
We celebrate the beautiful life of Bonnie Laurie Stanford, a kind and compassionate woman whose love and resilience touched the hearts of all who knew her. Born on May 28th, 1940, in Kingston, Oklahoma, Bonnie's life was a tapestry of love, empathy, and devotion to the Lord.
Bonnie began a rewarding career in the insurance industry as a commercial underwriter, showcasing her determination and dedication. Her empathetic nature and kindness made her a cherished colleague and friend.
She shared a loving life with her late spouse, Ernest D. Stanford, and was a devoted mother to her daughters, Terrie Ray and Salena Stanford, and her son, Ernest E. Stanford. She welcomed Michael Ray and Joyce Nunn into the family as her son-in-law and sister-in-law. Bonnie was a proud grandmother to Jennifer, Kevin, Natalie, Joshua, Ashley, and Robert, and a very proud great-grandmother to her great-grandchildren. Her brother John T. Nunn also survives her, carrying on the family legacy.
Bonnie was preceded in passing by her parents, Dr. William Thomas Nunn and Annie Laurie Ross, her brother Cyrus Hope Nunn, and her beloved spouse Ernest D. Stanford.
Her compassionate spirit and resilient nature left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Bonnie's life was a shining example of kindness and love, and her memory will continue to inspire joy and warmth in the hearts of her family and friends.
A service to celebrate Bonnie's remarkable life will be held on January 24th, 2025, at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
