Boris Breslav's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Boris Breslav, who left us on June 9th,
2024 after a courageous battle with stage 4 colon cancer. Boris was 56 years old.
Boris was born to Mark and Nina Breslav in Rechytsa, Belarus on April 4th, 1968. He grew up
with an amazing talent for sports and excelled as a top Greco-Roman wrestler in his youth. His
love for physical activity extended to his years in America where he practiced racquetball and
judo recreationally.
Boris was a man of many talents and interests. He was an avid chess player, a lover of movies,
and a practitioner of meditation and spirituality. His calm demeanor and thoughtful insights were
a source of inspiration to those who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted spouse, Anna Breslav, who stood by his side through every
challenge life presented. Together, they raised four wonderful children: their son Nikita Breslav,
and three daughters Polina, Anastasia, and Asya Breslav. Boris’s legacy of love and strength
lives on in them.
Boris is also survived by his father, Mark Breslav, and his two loving sisters, Irina and Galina
Breslav. He was a cherished uncle to his nieces Elana, Nina, and Rosa, and nephews Michael,
Ryan, Misha, and Vanya. Boris’s mother, Nina Breslav, predeceased him, and we find solace in
knowing they are reunited.
Throughout his life, Boris touched many hearts with his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering
support. His family and friends will forever remember him as a loving husband, a dedicated
father, a supportive brother, and a true friend.
A memorial service to honor Boris’s life will be held on 6/14 at RestLand Dallas.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help cover medical expenses, funeral
costs, and ongoing living expenses for his family. Donations can be made through the

Boris Breslav will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the memories and hearts of all
who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
