Bradley Vaughn Boyette's Obituary
Bradley Vaughn Boyette, loving husband, proud father, cherished colleague and friend, passed away unexpectedly on November 25th, 2023, at the age of 60 in Dallas, Texas. Born on May 17, 1963 in Oak Cliff, he graduated from Desoto HS and furthered his education, earning a BS in Business Administration at East Texas State University, where he also made lasting memories on the football field.
Brad's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Strategic National Property Tax Advisors, a venture where he proudly served as the founder and CEO. Prior to this, he held the esteemed position of National Real Estate Leader with Arthur Andersen’s National Tax Initiative. Brad had a real gift and was considered one of the best in his field. He will leave a lasting mark on his industry, no doubt.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha, father and best friend, La Von Boyette, and grandparents, Hugo and Laurence Lipp.
An avid skier, swimmer, traveler, and huge sports fan. With a “larger than life” personality, he captivated people with his charming smile, southern accent and sincere generosity. He never met a stranger and treated people from all walks of life like a brother. He was a great storyteller and loved an audience, where he engaged people with his charmastic sense of humor and zest for life. He found joy in forming relationships, coaching and watching sports, grilling and dining with friends and family. He eagerly anticipated hosting his annual crawfish boil where he exuded his Cajun flair and drew crowds of all ages. He was a big kid at heart, he always said “Some of us just don’t grow up”. One of his favorite events was going to the State Fair on opening day, having a corny dog and cold beer then spending most of his time on the Midway. His excitement and energy was
contagious. His love for shopping, music, holiday decor, and fresh flowers graced his home with warmth and beauty.
Brad became a proud supporter of Breast Cancer awareness and the American Cancer Society, after his wife was diagnosed in 2022. Brad and Brandy were an inseparable duo, who made a lasting impression on countless lives. As a member of the Promontory Club in Park City, Utah, he embraced the camaraderie of this active community.
Brad's outlook on life was encapsulated in his favorite phrases: "Everyday is a gift" and "Life is good". He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a profound appreciation of the moment. In honoring his memory, let us strive to embrace life with the same enthusiasm and gratitude that Brad exhibited throughout his remarkable journey. Brad accepted Christ as a child, was forgiven, and we know he is now experiencing joy and peace in Heaven.
Brad is survived by his beloved wife, Amanda “Brandy” Boyette, his children, Tatum and Bryson Boyette, and his stepchildren, Christian and his wife Mary, Scarlet, and William Hayward. Also, his sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Greg Carver, along with nieces and nephews Cody, Clay, and Kennedy Carver, Madeleine and Alex Vadeboncoeur, and Olivia, Natalie Harley and great-nephew Banks Potter.
