Bradley Neal Moore's Obituary
Bradley Moore was born on October 13, 1983, in Evansville, Indiana to Ronnie Lee Moore and Brenda Gail Lawrence. He was the youngest of two children who grew up in the Detroit, Michigan area. Brad was blessed to spend a decade with his wife and the love of his life, Christal Renee. He committed to serve his family and country with honor and integrity. When the Lord called him home August 13, 2020, during a military training exercise at Ft. Hood, he was living out his passion doing what he loved. He was reunited with his daughter, Ramsey Renee Moore, his parents, Ronnie Moore and Brenda Lawrence and grandparents.
His devotion to his country and his family was evident in his choice to serve and protect through his service in the United States Armed Forces. His service is recognized by a grateful country with the following awards: Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (2), Army Good Conduct Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Arkansas Emergency Service Ribbon, Texas Medal of Merit, Texas Humanitarian Service Ribbon.
His life and legacy will continue to be remembered and celebrated by his family: wife, Christal Moore; Children, Cole Andrew and Erica Nicole; sister: Michelle Moore Tice (Tedd) of Troy, Michigan; Uncle, Eugene Lawrence (Susie) of Union Grove, Alabama; Uncle, David (Alan) Lawrence of Yarmouth Port, MA; and Aunt, Kelly Douglas of Rapid City, South Dakota, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Casualty Assistance Officer, SFC Jill Miller for her dedication in planning and preparation for SSG Moore’s celebration of life, Our Texas Army National Guard family, The North Texas Patriot Guard Riders, and many leaders who have invested in SSG Moore’s life and professional development.
Visitation will be Monday, August 24, 2020 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243. A service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church of Dallas, 1707 San Jacinto, Dallas, Texas 75201, officiated by Rev. Nicholas Costello. SSG Bradley Moore will be laid to rest with full Military Funeral Honors following the service at the Field of Honor, Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
