Bradley Robert Mounsey's Obituary
Bradley Robert Mounsey, age 64, loving husband, father, son, Pop, uncle, colleague, and hunting buddy, passed away on Wednesday, June 28th, 2023, in Richardson, Texas, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born to Robert and Imogene Mounsey on October 4, 1958, in Perryton, Texas, and grew up in Booker, Texas and Farmers Branch, Texas, graduating from R.L. Turner High School in 1977. He was a resident of Murphy, Texas for 32 years. Brad leaves behind his beloved wife of 44 years, Susan Mounsey; daughters Lauren (Erik) Hirs and Jennifer Mounsey; grandchildren Quinn Hirs and Aaron Hirs; mother, Imogene Mounsey; sisters, Rhonda (Mark) Morris, Laura (Tony) Dennis, and Robin Bean; niece and nephews Alan (Kathryn) Morris, Kurt Morris, Jordan Anderson, Taylor Anderson, Matthew Bean, William Bean; great-niece and nephews Aubrey Morris, Owen Morris, and Noah Anderson; and mother-in-law Shirley Dexter. He is predeceased by his father, Robert Mounsey, and his brother-in-law, Randall Bean. Brad enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, gardening, and woodworking. His grandchildren were the light of his life.
Funeral services will take place at the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery on Monday, July 10th, with a viewing at 1pm and services at 2pm. Burial immediately to follow at the Garden of the Trinity, Restland.
