Brenda Sue was born in Minden, LA and attended Minden High School however she graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, TX. She had a long career as an Underwriter Assistant with several insurance companies in the Dallas area, until Lupus disabled her. She fought a courageous battle with Lupus for more than 20 years. She refused to give in to her illness. She managed to make a trip to Europe and other trips here in the USA even though Lupus was slowly taking over her body. In more recent years, as her health continued to deteriorate, she became more involved with crafts and quilting. She shared her crafts with friends and family, especially during the Christmas Season. She was a devoted wife to Ronnie for more than 40 years, a doting mother to Keith and a loving sister and aunt. After the birth of her two precious granddaughters, Kaley and Kelsey, they became the center of her life. Sue and Ronnie were able to go to Disney World with her son and his family in 2007. A trip that provided beautiful memories that sustained her through many long difficult hospitalizations. She always said that “her girls” made her laugh when she wasn’t able to do anything else. She called them her “medicine”. Brenda Sue will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Words can not express the void that has been left in our family. Pallbearers: Bobby Bowen, Sr., Bobby Bowen Jr., Randy Costanza, Tony Grant, Henry Garmon, and Zachary Delaney.
