I met Brent in August, 1983, when we were dorm mates at KU. We were both 18, and about to embark on our college experience. I was immediately impressed by Brent. He was serious, dedicated, loved his Lord, and someone I felt I could talk to any time. While most of the guys in the dorm were out doing silly things on the weekend, Brent and I were usually in the dorm, so we got to know each other fairly well. He was smart and kind to everyone. And he was a very handsome young man, particularly in his uniform which he wore with pride. I took a series of photos of him in uniform, standing in the lobby of our dorm. We parted ways when he left JRP dormitory the following year, but I never forgot him. I was glad to reconnect with him on Facebook a few years ago, and really enjoyed watching his webcams when his labs were giving birth. I was glad to get to know him again these past few years, and am terribly saddened that he has left us. But I will never forget him, and believe someday we will see each other again. My prayers and thoughts are with his family this Labor Day Weekend. Sincerely, Brad Moore in Overland Park, Kansas.
