I didn"t know him long,But I long to know him better. When I first meet Brian(09/11/08)I knew that I wanted to get to know him.He was so full of life,energetic,eager,and put his heart and soul into everything he did.I had never meet anyone that was so happy. Everything he did and said amazed me. It wasn't long we were married and planning our future together.He was gental,Loving,caring,compationet,and romantic.He always made apoint to let me and everyone know that I am his heart, That I am an answered prayer,And He would tell everybody,that he has a wife and a life now. And he's got to do right.I'm here to tell the world.That he was doing right,That he is my heart,And my answered prayer.I will always be proud to tell everyone that he is my husband. Eventhough;I only knew him for a short time. I can honestly say that I know what true love feels like. I will never regret meeting him, knowing him, or even marrying him.I will have a life time of the most beautiful memories that you could possable imagen.I can't think of just one memory. Every minet of every day that I had with him is my favorite.He never took a day for granted,never let an opportunity pass him by. I'm inspired to be more like him. To live out the dreams we had for our future. (I love me some Brian Curry)He was a beautiful man.He deserved to live a long happy life and have everything his heart desired.I just can't understand why this happend cuz' the world needs more peaple like him.He touched each and everyone that knew him.He will be greatly missed.

First I have to say that Hope is as real as a rock and as fleeting as smoke. You can't lose Hope for a second, and its our job to share Hope with those we love every day. I have known Brian since he was a fourth grader. He was always so special to me. He was a ball of enthusiasm. This last year has given me the opportunity to spend time with Brian and I hope he enjoyed being with me, my friends and family. He has taught me much over the years. He has been a good friend. I love him and I miss him. To David and Sharon, I can't imagine your loss. Your little tow-headed boy was a delight to me and the man was on the right path. Mona, you and Brian were like family to me. I will always treasure our pot roast dinners. Brian never hesitated to say that you were sent by angel to him, an answered prayer. He loved you so much and you pointed him in the right direction too. Durwood, you asked if you were the right kind of grandpa to Brian, and I can tell you that you were in every way. You gave direction and love and you never gave up on Brian. He appreciated it. He told me that. Brendan, Brian was so proud of you. I hope that you realize what a special man your dad was. Demons, yes, but a heart of gold. I know you have all his smarts. My heart goes out to all of Brian's family and friends. He was special and we are all counted lucky to have seen his light in our lives. I will miss him.

Sharon and Dave, My heart reaches out to you during this sad time. I remember Brian and my son Kitt, playing on the back of trucks at David's home in Austin.They laughed and played all afternoon. Dave and Sharon, I am so sorry for your loss. I am unable to even imagine your feelings. The one thing I have always dreaded was the possibility that I would lose one of my children, and I pray that it will never happen. Brian and I really came together these past few years because I could spend more time with him. I can tell you for sure that Brian had changed and was on the way to a better life. I was so proud of him and told him so because he was doing exactly what I had asked of him. He worked very hard and long hours but he always took time to call me and tell me what he was doing. The last time I talked with Brian was on Sunday before his death. He was very happy and upbeat because he had been to a job interview, took some tests and did well on all of them. He really felt that they would hire him. This is the Brian I will remember. After we moved to Tyler and built our new home on Lake Palestine I remember that Brian would come visit us during the summer. Jo would take him to Vacation Bible School at our church and he enjoyed that. She also took him to town and he beat her playing miniature golf. She also took Brian to Bergfield Park in Tyler where he loved to go because they had a real tall slide. When Jo slid down behind Brian, he told her "Grandmother you did big!" When he was old enough and could ride a bicycle, he brought it with him one summer. He rode all over Cumberland Ridge and when he would see someone out in their yard he would stop and introduce himself to them and find out their names and what kind of car they drove. He could tell you who it was when a car would pass by our home. Brian really liked the Hanson's because they showed him their workshop, their boathouse and how the lift worked and really enjoyed his company. Years later after the Hanson's had died, I met their daughter one day and she asked me about Brian. She said her parents really enjoyed Brian's visits. I think Brian knew more people in our sub-division than Jo or I did. I guess his favorite thing we did together was to go out in the boat and fish and swim. Also, I let him drive the boat and he really liked to do that! Brian was my only Grandson and I will miss him so much, but he will always be a part of me because I loved him so much. I sincerely hope that I was always the right kind of Grandfather to Brian and set a good example for him. Brian, you may not be with us anymore but we will always love and remember you. David and Sharon, We didn't know your son but have gotten to know David in the last year. You are a wonderful, caring, sweet man . I know you son probably loved you so both so much. We are so sorry for your loss. Phillip just told me and I wanted to send our condolences. You and your family are in our prayers. Please let us know if there is anything we can do. Mental Illness is someting thats hard to understand but know that Brian is at peace now. I couldn't begin to imagine how hard it must be. You are blessed to have family and friends.
