I’ll never forget Brain. He was so happy and bright all the time. I didn’t get to work with Brian for as long as I hoped, but with the time we had our friendship grew big and fast. Everyday he’d be sitting at the nurses station right next to me, he was my little helper. He’d like to remind me when the phone was ringing and point at the computer like I still had work to do. My favorite thing we did was watch the Ranger games together. I’m big on sports and can really get into it, so when I’d yell at the tv because they weren’t playing good enough or jump up and down because they were, he’d always laugh hysterically. Brian had so much love and laughter to give and he always got it back in return. Highland Meadows isn’t the same without him. I’m truly sorry you left sooner than we expected buddy. I know you’re in a better place now. See you later alligator…
Brian Faulkner was a child I watched grow up from a baby, into a man. Doctors gave him a minimal life-expectancy, yet he lived to be 46 years old. His mother (Brenda) was much of the success of his life with her love and nurturing ways. She taught Brian the love of Jesus and he was always the first one to enter the doors to worship and hear the Bible being taught. He loved people and the presence of God was forever present with him. I know he's free at last to shout, talk, run and worship his Savior. We will grieve the loss of Brian on this earth, but we will see him again in Heaven. (Aka), Red Bird, we'll always miss and love you!!! Fly high, our sweet boy!!

My wife Becky and I loved Brian. We would see him on Sunday mornings at Highland Meadows and often would stop by for visits during the week. He was a joy and blessing to know. Always had a smile on his face and joy in his heart. He loved the music and church and would just wave his arm and laugh at his favorite songs. He never knew the inspiration he gave to so many of those that had the blessing to know Brian. We will miss him dearly but see him some day in GLORY in his new and perfect body.
Very sad that Brian’s deep and booming voice will never again ask me, “HOW ARE YOU?!?” 💔
