Brian Maurice Hill's Obituary
Brian was a beautiful spirit that graced us with more than fifty years of love, humor and understanding. He knew how to put a smile on your face whether it was a shoulder of support, or his trash talk during a highly competitive season of fantasy football.
Brian was born in Dallas, Texas on August 7,1974 to Henry and Marsha Hill. He was a devoted and loving son who made us proud of the man he grew up to be and how he lived his life.
Brian accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at East Gate Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. He graduated from Mesquite High School in 1992 and attended Eastfield College. Brian was most recently employed by Edward Jones as a Senior workforce Analyst. Brian's dedication and work ethic garnered the respect and admiration of his coworkers.
Brian was a gregarious young man who maintained long and deep friendships. He spoke so much wisdom in a direct, matter of fact, Straightforward and compassionate manner. He was our counselor who always had a listening ear and no judgements. He provided fatherly advice to the younger generation. If you had the pleasure of knowing Brian, you knew a man of his word who was calm, reliable, Trustworthy and dependable. His adventurous, curious nature drew friends and family with diverse politics and points of view. Brian loved his family and friends and valued the time he spent with them. So much fun and laughter were experienced at family poker game nights and the occasional casino visit.
Brian was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his brother Cedric Hill and his sister Keshia Cooper (Homer, LA).
He leaves to cherish his memory and is survived by his loving parents, Henry and Marsha Hill. (Allen, TX) one brother, Adrian Hill ( Dallas, TX) and one sister, Marie Brown (Erick) (Houston, TX) and his daughter (by choice) Grace Baker (Houston, TX), and dear devoted friend, Amanda Holloman (McKinney, TX), as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, coworkers, classmates and loved ones.
Brian was the love of our lives. He was a blessing from God for which we are eternally grateful. His brilliant light will forever shine in our hearts.
