It was a privilege & a great experience to travel to Italy with Brian, Shannon, Parker, Bob & myself, & other friends of theirs for a fabulous vacation together. We gathered to celebrate Shannon’s birthday in Tuscany. Brian said it was one of his happiest memories, being together with family & friends—-it was for me, also. As his mother, I will forever miss him, love him, and continue to mourn his beautiful presence in my life. There is an enormous hole where he once existed on this earth, that will forever be empty. One day I will awake to find this whole thing is just a horrible nightmare.

I remember the first time I saw Brian. He was 3-4 years old and Joseph brought him to Ascension Episcopal Church. I was very impressed a single dad was taking his young son to church. Brian was shy and so Joseph stayed in class with him the first couple of Sundays, then Brian was comfortable staying alone with the other children. I always looked every Sunday to see if this single dad and his son would be at church and they alway were. I knew Brian was getting a good foundation to build on as he grew up. The accomplishments and awards Brian achieved are very impressive. God bless his soul.

Dave and I are so sorry for your loss. Almost every Friday night for years, we would go to Cappacino Italian Bistro and as we pulled up, Brian and Shannon would be pulling up too. If for some reason, they were not there, we always asked about them and the staff told us, they did the same, if we were not there. We always looked forward to our Friday nites. Through conversation, we found out our daughter was a lawyer in the same firm where Brian and Shannon both worked. Brian had such a great smile! He was a very special friend.
