Brian MacMullen Sword's Obituary
Sword, Brian MacMullen ~ Born April 29th 1923 in New Haven Connecticut. He served in World War II as a Flight Engineer on a B-17 with the 15th Air Force in Italy as part of the 483rd Bomb Group-840 Squadron. Brian Graduated from Bucknell University in 1948 and married Elizabeth Anne Colladay on June 18th 1949. He worked for 31 years with the John Hancock Insurance Agency in their Group Department. He enjoyed his work and meeting new people. One of his interests was raising and training Labrador Retrievers for field trials. Brian is survived by his wife, Elizabeth C. Sword. He was a loving father and husband. His daughters are Susan Sword Mino and husband Joseph Mino from Houston Texas, Deborah Sword Fosdick and husband David Fosdick from Dallas Texas and Jennifer Sword Thomas and husband David Thomas from Albuquerque New Mexico. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Meredith A. Mino, Matthew J. Mino, Mallory S. Fosdick, Samuel R. Fosdick, Caitlin T. Deyerle and Julie A. Thomas.
