Brian Gene Tadlock's Obituary
Brian Gene Tadlock, of Greenville, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones.
Brian was born in Waco, Texas on January 18, 1960 to Frances Copeland Tadlock and Derwood Don Tadlock. Brian married the love of his life, Tammy Tadlock, on April 28, 2000. Brian was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of God in Greenville, Texas. Brian was a devout Christian, a loving husband, father and grandfather. Brian’s life revolved around his children and grandchildren, who affectionately referred to him as “Pa.” Whether it was a rodeo, softball tournament, church play, basketball game, t-ball game, football game or a graduation, you could always count on him cheering from the stands. Brian’s hobbies included fishing, playing and building guitars, and anything involving rodeo.
Brian is survived by his wife, Tammy Tadlock; his daughter, Lexi Tadlock (Joshua Key) of Dike, Texas; his son, Brandon Tadlock (Kortni) of Greenville, Texas; grandchildren, Macager Key and Tucker Tadlock; his sister, Marian Landis of Dallas, Texas; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Jack Tadlock and Alan Tadlock; and his brother-in-law, David Landis.
Visitation for Brian will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, and services will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with graveside service to immediately follow.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Tadlock, Joshua Key, Alan Dodson, De Skidmore, Marty Obrien and Kevin Brunson. Honorary pallbearers will be Macager Key and Joe Wells.
