Bri was so kind and beautiful. She was a good friend to me and my sister, Elizabeth over the years. Anyone who had Bri in their lives benefitted from knowing her. When she found out we had the same birthday, she insisted that made us sisters. We are devastated about her loss. Wishing peace and comfort to her family during this time.
Bri was the first friend I made in Austin. She immediately took me under her wing and made a teenager alone in a new city feel less alone. We bonded quickly over Abbott and Costello and Lord of the Rings and I am truly grateful to have met her and been able to call her my friend. My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones. Bri I was so shocked to hear of your passing! I know we haven't talked in years but as soon as I heard the news all the memories of our fun times together in high school came flooding back. The time you, me and Miranda went to see the new Step Up movie at Northpark or the time you came all the way from school to pick me up the morning my mom's car wouldn't start. You saved the day that day! Not to mention all the fun times throughout the school year in speech class and other events. You were a light of joy and sunshine Bri!! The room was brighter and more fun the moment you walked into it. You'll be forever missed by me and many many others!! Rest in peace with no more suffering and know that your memory and the impact you made in the lives of everyone who had the privilege to know you will live on forever!
My favorite time with you will forever be my first trip to Austin with you. You showed me around and took me to the coolest interactive art museum. We took awesome photos. You were so beautiful and had so much light and we really captured it all. You introduced me to some funny weird cartoons that week, took me to good eats and mini pop up concerts, tried on random blazers and ties in a thrift store and talked so much life. I will miss our talks, our drives, texting you we’re on the way. You greeting us before we could even get both feet out the car. I will miss you until the end of my days. Until our next weekend.
