Dr. Herzog delivered both my Children. Carrington Mackenzie Haynes and Christian Marshall Haynes 10 years apart. -- I loved him so much! I miss you dearly Dr. Herzog! Jacquelyn C. Haynes.
One of the most caring and helpful physicians that I ever knew. You are missed, my friend!
I met Dr. Herzog many years ago when I worked at the Veterinary clinic that he took both of his poodles to. I started going to him when my gynecologist retired. I will truly miss him.

Dr Herzog will always be one of the most important people in my life. I came to him broken and afraid after 5 miscarriages. I was suffering with incompetent cervix and he took me in as a patient, gave me a cervical cerclage and placed me on in hospital bed rest for the next 5 months. He came to visit me every day, talked me off the ledge several times and always encouraged me to be patient so I could finally have the baby I dreamed of having. He delivered my Daughter Sofia and I will never forget his kindness and patience. God bless him and his family.....a loss to the world, for sure.
Dr Herzog saved my life just days before he passed. I had been going to Dr Herzog for many, many yrs. I went to him end of March. He asked when my last mammogram was. I just had one a few days before that came back normal. He said I have thick Fiberest breast and he signed for a sonogram. I had the sonogram that revealed I had Stage 1 breast cancer. I would’ve gone another yr with the cancer growing and a total different outcome. He didn’t live long enough to find out he probably saved my life.
My family met the Herzog family as we shared a table on a cruise ship about 18 years ago. We were 4 and they were 8, including two grandparents. They were the first Latter Day Saints I can recall meeting. Their witness of Jesus Christ and His Church for that week had a lasting impact on me. Two years ago I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have always considered Dr. Herzog’s testimony, by word and deed, to me then as a significant factor, but I could not remember his name. In March of 2019, I was at the Dallas Temple and asked around and the Temple matron gave me his name. Now I am sad that I didn’t contact Dr. Herzog immediately then while he was still alive. So I hope and pray that his family sees this so that they will know, as they already do, that Dr. Herzog’s impact was not only of this world, but of eternity, especially for me, and soon I hope and pray, for my entire family.
Mrs. Herzog and family, I was heart broken to hear of Dr. Herzogs untimely passing. I moved away last year and knew he could never be replaced. He delivered my 3 boys. He was like no other and we had plenty of laughs, cries and hugs. He was a kind and giving man. I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing him with us.
Dr. Herzog delivered my youngest child in 1988 and 5 years after. I was at the office when it was decked out for his 50th birthday. Dr. Herzog always made me feel like I was his only patient. He gave his full attention to whoever he was with. Several years after I last had an appointment, I ran into him at a medical plaza. “Hi, Dr. Herzog. I was one of your patients.” “I know, Veronica” he replied with that great smile. As he remembered me, I will always remember him. Thank you for sharing your loved one with so many. He will be greatly missed.
