Brownie Thomas Bradshaw's Obituary
In Loving Memory Brownie Thomas Bradshaw, age 80, passed away January 17, 2017 at his home in Wylie, Texas. He was born February 18, 1936 to Monroe and Viola Freestone Bradshaw. Brownie was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Melton and Charles and two grandsons Rickye Bradshaw and Brownie Bradshaw III. He is survived by his wife of sixty-two and one-half years, Barbara Bradshaw; three children, Brownie Jr., Cindy King and her husband, David and Melonye Horne; three grandchildren Wendell King, Jr and his wife Kimberly, Cortnye Saunders and her husband Beau and Bridget Bradshaw; two great-grandchildren, Colton King and Isla Saunders; sister Thelma Cashion and numerous other family members. BROKEN CHAIN We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life, we loved you dearly, in death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you the day God called you Home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. 2 Corinthians 4:18 So we do not look at what we can see right now, the troubles all around us, but we look forward to the joys in Heaven which we have not yet seen. The troubles will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever. Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 3-5 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11 AM in the Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
