Bruce Victor Fuhr's Obituary
Bruce Victor Max Fuhr, age 95, a long-time resident of Grand Prairie, Tx passed away Thursday, September 30th, 2021 in Irving, Texas. Bruce was born on July 20th, 1926 in Youngstown, Ohio. Bruce signed up at age 17 and served in the U.S. Army in the II world War in the Pacific Front. After the war, he put himself through college for Aerodynamics Engineer. He married Mary Elizabeth Davis on March 8, 1956 in Las Vegas, Nevada in a double wedding ceremony with his sister Margit and then to be husband Kurt Bellon. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, his parents, and two brothers, Roger A. Fuhr and Egmond Fuhr.
Bruce is survived by his Sister Margit F. B. Iguchi in Winnsboro, Texas, Margit’s daughter Lore Bellon (niece) and her 4 sons, Sean, Jared, Braedon & Damian Mason which were his great nephews. Brother Roger A. Fuhr’s 3 sons (nephews) Roger R., Randolf R., and Alexander Fuhr. Roger R. Fuhr’s daughter Lisa and son Brandon. (All below are great nephews & nieces). Randolf R. Fuhr’s daughter Candice and sons Nathan and Alexander. Alexander W. Fuhr’s son Peyton Fuhr.
He is also survived by his son James C. Davis, granddaughters Mary E. Peterson and Susan M. Wilcox and grandson Robert A. Davis. Great grandchildren Antigua M. Salmeron, Austin D. B. Banks, Stephany S. Peterson, Stephen Z. Peterson, Daniel C. Wilcox, and James “Clint” A. Davis and great-great grandchildren Rutger H. J. Banks and Oliver J. B. Banks.
