Bruce Allard Mantyla of Dallas, TX passed January 15, 2019 in Dallas, TX He was born November 11, 1953 to Laster and Arlene Mantyla in Lima, Peru. He married Guadalupe Alba Garcia in July 5, 2002 in Dallas, TX. Bruce was a Criminal Defense Attorney for 30 years. He was a member of DCDLA and State Barf of Texas. Her is survived by wife, Alba Regalado Mantyla of Dallas, TX,Step Daughters- Amanda Garza and husband Juan Garza of Red Oak, TX, Melissa Regalado of Dallas, TX Step Son- Bryan Pete Regalado and wife Kristina Regalado of Forney, TX, sister Letty Kidinger of Boston, MA. Six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.Bruce A. Mantyla was born on Nov.11, 1953 in Lima, Peru. He came to the US when he was 15 years old. Then lived in Boston, MA. Graduated from Brighton High School in Boston, MA. He went to Law School at Valparaiso University School of Law. After which he moved to Texas became a member of the State Bar of Texas and has been practicing law ever since. Bruce received his law degree from Valparaiso University of Indiana on May 18, 1980. He then became a member of the State Bar oF Texas on May 13, 1983. Bruce then started working at the Public Defenders office in 1983. he was there from 1989 to 2005, 16 years. After which he started in private practice until 2019,14 years. He was a Criminal Defense attorney for 36 years.A memorial service fro Bruce will take place on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.Funeral arrangements for Mr. Bruce Allard Mantyla have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, at the intersection of Restland Road and Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972)238-7111
