Bruce Dale Rider's Obituary
RIDER, BRUCE DALE born March 25, 1940, died on October 10, 2012. Born in Duncan, Oklahoma, Bruce served in the US Army at Ft. Irwin, California where he met his beloved Paula. They were married for 47 years. Bruce was the administrator of the Granville C. Morton Research Division of Wadley Institutes and the W. B. Carrell Clinic until his retirement due to illness. Bruce was much loved and admired for his kind and caring nature and will be greatly missed by the many people he helped during his life. His quiet demeanor made his sometimes wicked sense of humor a delightful surprise. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses who cared for Bruce during his last days at Presbyterian on the second floor of the Hamon Building and those doctors who treated him throughout his journey with Parkinson’s Disease. A graveside service will be held at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas on Monday, October 15th, at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, the Dallas Museum of Art, or the Nasher Sculpture Center.
