Bruce Dale Slaughter was born on August 11, 1948 in Dallas, Texas and passed away November 14, 2016 in Rowlett, Texas. He survived by his wife, Peggy (PJ) Slaughter; son, Burt Dale Slaughter and wife, Shelly; daughters, Christie Slaughter Owen, Paige Corn and husband, Stacy; five grandchildren, Dillon, Cristen, and grandson-in-law, Coby Casie, Camryn, Cassidie; two great-grandchildren, Kinzler and Khloe; sisters, Earnestine Trammell, Margie Mead, Pat Black, Glenda O’Neal and Judy Cox and several brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. The service for Bruce Slaughter will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
