Bryan McAllister Haswell's Obituary
Bryan McAllister Haswell, born on March 21, 1958 in
Trinidad, West Indies, was the seventh child of nine children born to
the late Ernest Martin Haswell, Sr. and Daphne Loretta HaswellWebb. He is preceded in death by his sister Jacqueline Loretta Haswell. In 1973, he migrated to the U.S., living in Brooklyn, NY and graduating from Grover Cleveland High School in 1977. Realizing his love for politics and patriotism, he joined the U.S. Air Force on January 7th, 1980. He received many accolades including Air Force Good Conduct metals and the Air Force Outstanding Unit award ribbon. After leaving the Airforce, Bryan was employed by the United States Postal Service from which he retired in 2011. Bryan, being a proud supporter of former President Barack Obama, was personally invited to Obama’s inauguration, and received various memorabilia directly from the Obama Administration. Bryan married Charlene Haswell-Jeanty and had one daughter, Chantel. From his second marriage to Angela Nettles he had another daughter, Brittany. Bryan was a man with great pride, love, respect, and devotion for family and friends. He was a loving father and brother. To know him was to love him and he will be missed; yet remembered by all who knew him. He leaves a legacy of love to be remembered by his daughters Chantel Maria Haswell of Brooklyn, NY and Brittany Danielle Haswell of Dallas, TX. Brothers: Ernest Martin Haswell Jr., Wesley Wayne Haswell, Eversley McDonald Haswell, Curtis Lennox Haswell, and Ashton McGregor Haswell. Sisters: Marva Lenora Haswell and Gail Gloria Haswell. Devoted friends Michael Byrus and Clifton Grillier, Jr.
