Bryan David Pollard's Obituary
Bryan David Pollard was born in Dallas, Texas on May 2, 1960, and went Home to the Lord on September 27, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Pollard, Grand Prairie and children, Ashley Pollard Pierce, her husband, Jeremy, two grandsons, Tristan and Sammy, Malakoff, Texas; son Preston Lee Pollard, Grand Prairie and son, Ryan Pyle, his wife, Elizabeth , and one grandson Mark, of Burleson, Texas; daughter, Jessica Weeks, her husband, Matthew Weeks, five grandchildren, Savannah, Gavin, AJ, Benjamin and Brelynn of Allen, Texas; parents, Dianne and Preston Pollard, Grand Prairie, Texas; sister, Beth Pollard Wilson and husband, John Wilson, Athens, Texas; nephews, Peter Wilson, Athens, Texas, Daniel Wilson, Lindale, Texas, and Caleb Wilson, Whitehouse, Texas, and their families. Bryan established Performance Automatic Door Systems in 2007and has maintained an excellent reputation with many customers and contractors. Bryan was an ultimate perfectionist in work ethic and integrity. He loved to spend time with his family, many dear friends and three large dogs. He loved to spend time on his boat at Lake Texhoma and was at peace whenever he was on or near the water. He also enjoyed visiting with all his nephews and their families. He was also an avid builder and flyer of model radio controlled airplanes. Christmas was Bryan’s most favorite time of the year. He always took such great joy in decorating his Christmas tree on Thanksgiving day and he took great pride in doing the work himself. Christmas Day was a special happy day full of gifts, food, family and laughter. One of the last things Bryan mentioned to his wife in the weeks before his passing is that if he went to heaven before her, he would build a place for everyone, a special place where everyone would be together. Family will receive friends on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2:30 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
