I have known BJ Melton since I was in high school. He was such a loving father and a friend to so so many in Richardson. Everyone loved BJ Melton! Rest in Peace dear friend. You certainly made the most of the 100 years the good Lord gave you to do your work here on earth. Well done BJ. Well done.

I am so thankful to have known him. He was like a grandpa to me. He loved dearly. He was a good listener. I will miss him so much.
One of my favorite memories of Poppa was dancing with him at my wedding. Such a happy memory with him!
BJ has been a very special friend for many years. We kept in touch after he moved to Colorado and I will miss him. He loved God, and he loved his country.
