Byong Nam Park, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, at the age of 94.
Born in Korea, Mr. Park lived through the trials of the Japanese occupation and the Korean War, experiences that shaped his resilience and deep appreciation for life. In 1979, he immigrated to the United States with his immediate family, beginning a new chapter at the age of 48.
He worked with dedication and integrity as a U.S. Postal Service employee for over two decades, retiring around 2012. Known for his quiet strength and unwavering work ethic, Mr. Park was respected by all who knew him.
A man of deep faith, he was a devoted member of Binerri Church since the early 1980s. His spiritual life was a guiding force, and he found joy in worship and fellowship. He also had a love for travel, exploring destinations from Europe to Hawaii, always curious and grateful for the beauty of the world.
Above all, Mr. Park was devoted to his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Young Park; three children; two grandchildren; and his younger brother.
