Byrne Deane Underhill's Obituary
Byrne D. Underhill went to be with his lord and savior on November 20, 2015 in Plano, Texas. Byrne was born to Ralph and Iva Underhill in Elba, New York on June 17, 1935. he attended Elba High School and completed his education and Rochester Institite of Technology. His career spanned 33 years with Eastman Kodak Co. from which he retired in 1986 as corporate director of employee relations. Throughout his life he was active in several charitable organizations as well as his church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step- father, Reverand George Manning; his sister, Mrs. Rhea Marabello and his former wife, Mrs. Joann Underhill. He was extremely proud of his family and is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Patricia Allman Underhill. They were married for 41 years and resided in Rochester, New York. For 12 years before retiring and settling in North Texas. Also surviving are a daughter; Mrs. Christal J. Vasbinder and her husband Alan of Rochester, NY, a son; Collin M. Underhill and his wife Julie of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, three grandchildren; Mrs. Sherri Dipaolo and Steven Vasbinder of Rochester, Matthew Underhill of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, two great grandsons; Nicholas and Brandon Dipaolo of Rochester and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life memorial service will be held on November 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Holy Covenant United Methodist Church, 1901 East Peters Colony, Carrollton, Texas 75007. In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to the Holy Covenant United Methodist Church, music department at the address above.
